Learning experience in store for young Rocket boys' tennis team

With four sophomores, six freshmen and no seniors on this year's squad, the Person High School boys' tennis team appears to be looking at a season of learning and gaining experience.
Coming off a 2-11 overall finish (2-10 in PAC-6) in 2008, head coach Mike Barrett knows his team will likely struggle in the always-tough PAC-6.
Person resumes action early this week when it hosts Oxford Webb on Monday and travels for a conference match at East Chapel Hill on Tuesday (both contests are 4:00 starts). |
