Person golfers set sights on regional-playoffs berth

Despite sporting a starting lineup of underclassmen this spring, Person High School head golf coach Mark Lunsford is confident his Rockets can take their performance at least one step further this year to achieve a top-four finish in the Piedmont Athletic Conference and a regional playoff berth.
Person finished fifth in PAC-6 play and out of the postseason picture last season. Lunsford thinks his team is ready to reach the regionals in 2009. See Saturday, March 7 Courier=Times for more of this story.
