Rockets have "fun," scalp Warriors in opener

"Yes sir. This was fun tonight" Charles Dacus, head coach of the Person vasity boys' basketball team, spoke thise words Tuesday night shortly after the Rockets opened the season with an  impressive 71-53 non-conference victory over Oxford Webb at home.
The Rockets enter the season with loads of hope and goals of improving drastically over a 6-18 record last year.
"Last year, we struggled throughout the season and it got to the point where it wasn't fun for any of us," Dacus said. "This year, we want to have fun. The guys want to get up and down the court, have fun and play with a lot of effort. If we can do that, I think good things can happen for us.
