New school records set in 2009 Football

The 2009 football season should be remembered for a couple of new school records being set and one nearly being tied. The first of those was Chavon Burton's record-breaking 95-yard kickoff return in the season-opening loss to Lake Nornman. The second record-setting effort was the minus-49 yards rushing allowed by the defense in a 17-9 win over Halifax Va.
