The talents and efforts of the region’s best high school performing arts students were showcased this past Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the 2nd Annual Eastern Kentucky Dramatic Arts Society High School Drama Festival, this year held at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. EKDAS was formed in 2008 to acknowledge and promote the numerous drama clubs, classes and companies of our Mountain Regions high schools by allowing these talented student performers opportunities to perform for audiences of artistically like-minded peers on the various stages of Eastern Kentucky. The beautiful Kohn Theatre, under the direction of Professor Moe Conn, was the perfect venue for this year’s festival.
