#2(AAA) Park Center met #3(AAAA) Lakeville North at the St. Olaf tournament Friday night.  In a fast paced game the Panthers jumped out to an early 10-3 lead over the Pirates.  The Pirates would right the ship and come back from an early deficit to take an 8 point lead into the locker room at the half.  The second half was quick tempo with North finding a hot hand from the perimeter late to make a surge.  The Pirates stayed strong, breaking the press for layups and dominating the offensive glass late in the game.  The highlight was a defensive possession late in the game when North was making a comeback, were Park Center made it impossible to get a good look, shut off all penetration lanes and ended with Ann Simonet digging on the post to get a steal.  That play would shift the momentum back to Park Center's favor and allowed the Pirates to go on to a 73-63 win.  PC is now 7-1 and meets #1(AAAA) Eastview Saturday at St. Olaf.
