What does it take to make a fourth generation firefighter become an award winning professional photographer? A passion for art, the drive to be successful, and the pure joy of watching his client's reaction to that "perfect" shot.

Originally from Geneva, NY., Paul Goodman, along with his wife and two daughters, now make their home in Georgetown, KY. His love of capturing images began as a small child, with a gift of a Kodak point and shoot camera, an inquisitive nature, and an eye for the beauty in simple things.

Paul's 20 year photography hobby became a business in 2007, limited to stock photography exclusively focused on firefighting. Only a year later he moved out of his garage and into the current location at 120 N. Water St., offering a full range of photographic genres. Paul's goal is to create images that fully capture the personality, charm and uniqueness of maternity, baby, family, high school senior, and wedding portraiture in a beautiful and artistic way.

Paul has been published in The Horse Magazine; Fire Engineering (for photos documenting Hurricane Katrina); is prominently featured on Ihigh.com, and is the official photographer of the Premiere Basketball League Bluegrass Stallions.

Paul became a member of the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association (2008) and the Professional Photographers Association (2009) to further his education in the photography business. Since becoming part 0f these organizations he has had the opportunity to learn from some of the industries leading photographers: Tim Kelly, Craig Maninelly, David Ziser and Michele Celentano.
