Paris Competes At The Scott County All-Comers Meet
GEORGETOWN - Last week, the Paris (girls and boys) track and field team traveled to Georgetown to participate in the Scott County All-Comers Meet.
The Paris girls' team finished eighth, while the boys team placed 10th. "We are right where we need to be," said Paris Track Coach Brian Washington. "Our girls continue to get better with every meet, while our boy's team is showing much improvement." The coach continued on by saying that his team is getting better and faster because of the tough competition they are going up against. "We're a small school racing against Bryan Station, Scott County, Tates Creek and Lexington Catholic and we're holding our own."
Bryan Station won the boys meet (189.5 points) by running away from second place finisher Lexington Catholic (115 points), while Scott County won the girls meet by edging Bryan Station 116.5 to 104.
