Paris Golfers Stand at 2-0 to Start Season

August 15, 2014
Paris High School

The Paris Golf Team played its first two regular season matches this week.  All regular season matches are 9 holes but Tournaments are 18 holes.  I am proud to say that right now we stand at 2-0 and play again Monday in The All “A” Region at Flagg Springs Golf Course.  Here is a list of our matches and our schedule which I am still adding to get to the 20 match limit you can play.

Tuesday, August 12 we traveled to Old Silo Golf Course in Mt. Sterling to play Bath County and Won with a score of 39-158 and Landon Allen was The Medalist for the day with a 39.

Bath County only had 3 Players participate so that is what we used to keep the score.  Usually you play everyone and keep the 4 best scores to determine the winner but since they only had 3 we just kept the best 3.

Thursday, August 14th we traveled to Maysville Country Club in Maysville to play St. Pat and won with a score of 192-228 and Halen Stamper was The Medalist for the day with a 40.
