Home » Science NewsScience Ruuuuules! (Ms. Pallo the Science.. Girl)November 5, 2010 By Philip Swanson of Centralia High School ActivitiesYou can ask any teacher here at Centralia High School what he or she thinks about the district, and you will most likely get the same answers. Teachers LOVE it here! Ms. Pallo is a great example of this. In a recent interview with her, she commented, "I love Centralia. The people are very friendly and fun to talk with." Ms. Pallo is the new Physical Science and AP Biology teacher this year. Reading is one of her favorite hobbies. She especially likes books by Neil Gaiman. Scuba diving is ranked high on her list of favorite things to do. Ms. Pallo says that scuba diving was one of her "expensive" hobbies; therefore, she did not do it often. However, she is trained in Advanced Underwater Rescue! She lived most of her life in Independence, Missouri, but Ms. Pallo has recently moved to Centralia. She came to Centralia because of the Fellows Program, which is a master's program that has partnerships through the University of Missouri. Ms. Pallo previously did student teaching at Lee's Summit, but she is currently teaching 7 classes and taking 5. Even though Ms. Pallo is very busy, she is very happy with her position right now. If you see her, please welcome her to Centralia High School.
