Home » Choir NewsCCC Honor Choir PerformanceDecember 11, 2012 By Danielle Bennett of Centralia High School ActivitiesOn December 3, 2012, CHS Chamber Choir members traveled to Louisiana, Mark Twain, and Centralia for the annual Clarence Cannon Conference Choir performance. Prior to the their performances, all ten schools met at Monroe City on December 1 to practice with director Ron Atteberry from Central Methodist University. Periodically, the choir comes to Centralia to perform. The CCC choir sang a total of six songs, which included “Rise Up Shepherd and Foller,” “Born, Born In Bethlehem,” “Silent Night,” “This Christmastide,” “Baby, It's Cold Outside,” and “An Irving Berlin Christmas.” In “Silent Night,” three of our own singers were soloists. Allison Hulen, Joy Monroe, and Michelle Lynn were featured during the piece. Centralia was represented by twelve singers, along with Mrs. Rolfson as the pianist. The singers were Madison McCord, Mikayla Hunt, Joy Monroe, Brady McDowell, Jonathan White, Conner Hardman, TJ Campbell, Allison Hulen, Carrie Drake, Michelle Lynn, Ariana McKenney, and Sarah Burkhardt.
