Got Stu-Co? CHS does!
October 22, 2012By Gina Leake of Centralia High School Activities
This year’s CHS Student Council has excellent participation and enthusiasm. With a group of 40 members, the jobs surely get done. So far this year the club has successfully planned activities and dances and made sure Homecoming ran smoothly. The CHS Stu-Co members put in a tremendous amount of effort. Mrs.Gilman, the Stu-Co main sponsor said this year ‘s group has shown more participation than in years past.It is believed the group will go far in planning new, creative activities and fundraisers that further involve the student body. Student council doesn’t only help plan school activities, but the club also raises money for The Special Olympics and Relay for Life. Being involved in student council not only shows your dedication to the school, but it also helps you grow as a person. Mrs.Sebben, a sponsor of student council described the group in one word, proactive.
