Home » Alumni NewsChris Haverstick, The BankerApril 4, 2012 By Philip Swanson of Centralia High School ActivitiesVice president of the class of 2004, Chris Haverstick made many accomplishments while he was a student at Centralia High School. For starters, he was a senior football player when CHS won the state championships both in football and basketball. One of his funniest memories was when he managed to drop a printer on the concrete while trying to move it from a concession stand to the resource area. He was also very involved with high school activities. For instance, he participated in Student Council and won Mr. Student Body his senior year. His time was greatly taken up with chamber choir and sports like football, basketball, and golf. He was also involved in FBLA and National Honor Society. Chris decided to pursue a career in banking at Martisburg Bank in Centralia. He plans to continue his career and one day raise a family. Chris misses the competitive sports and social aspects of high school as well as Wildlife Biology and Lifetime Sports classes. Haverstick encourages students to"enjoy every day of high school because life only gets harder after high school."
