Home » Alumni NewsAdmire Involved in Multiple Activities in High SchoolFebruary 10, 2012 By Philip Swanson of Centralia High School ActivitiesIn 2007, Amy Admire was a senior at Centralia High School. While she was still a student, Amy kept herself involved in all sorts of activities. From sprinting in track, to singing in chamber choir; whether managing softball, or participating in numerous clubs. Amy has done everything including working at Sonic and Prenger's. She had many teachers that she liked in high school. Mostly Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Johnson because their language classes had a major influence on her decision to pursue an English degree. Amy double-majored in English Education and Theatre at Hannibal-LaGrange university, a decision she describes as "foolish." One of her favorite memories is of Mr. Newsted chasing her around the building trying to get her back on the track team her senior year. Amy misses all the free time she had in high school and recommends that students make the most of it while they can.
