BOYS BASKETBALL: PIKETON 79, PAINT VALLEY 56January 30, 2010 Piketon came back from a slow start and picked up a 79-56 conference road win Friday against Paint Valley. Piketon (9-4, 7-2) managed just nine points in the first quarter, but 19 points from Evan Legg, coupled with Paint Valley turnovers, helped the team find its offensive rhythm. Paint Valley's Logan Markko had 19 points and eight rebounds. Coach Richard Wolfe called it the best effort the team had put forth all year despite the loss. Paint Valley travels to Fairfield on Saturday.
