Paintsville Elementary School Welcomes…

Mickey Melvin-6^th grade teacher

Mrs. Melvin loves teaching because she loves kids.  Her favorite color is green.  She enjoys fishing in her free time. In fact, she has a pet fish named Bosley, along with a dog named Lula, a cat called Egor and a skeleton by the name of Ichabod.

 Diana Daniels-Kindergarten aid

When Diana wakes up in the morning she prefers a bowl of Apple Jacks in comparison to any other breakfast.  She has a pet schnauzer named Molly. She attends Midway College. Diana chose Paintsville Elementary as her place of work because she once was a Paintsville Elementary Tiger herself.

 Jessica Grim-2^nd grade teacher

Educating just down the hall from her mother, Jessica Grim has joined the Paintsville Elementary faculty as a 2nd grade teacher. She received her college education at Morehead State University. She coaches the high school volley ball team and on September 23, 2011 she will become Mrs. Adam Davis.

 Desiree Harmon-5^th grade teacher

Desiree chose Paintsville because it is a small community in which you know most everyone. Paintsville is also her hometown. In her free time she enjoys exercising, instructing Zumba classes and playing with her baby girl, Avery. Mrs. Harmon received her education from Midway College.

 Becky Wright-Teachers aid

This 1982 graduate of Paintsville High School has returned home as a teachers aid in the elementary school. Her favorite colors are blue and white. She received her education from UK/PCC. Of all the many flavors of Pop-Tarts she would say her favorite is chocolate.
