Tigers Come Up Short

October 15, 2012
By Jason Kinner of Paintsville Jr Sr High School

The Paintsville Tigers were defeated by the Nicholas County bluejackets by a score of 54-46. Freshman Kash Daniels threw 4 touchdown passes, all to Sophomore wideout Peyton Smith. The Tigers lacked a few key defensive stopped, but showed that they are able to put points on the board. The Tigers are showing that they can play with teams, and are capable of pulling out the upset. Much better than last seasons shellacking. The Tigers can take a morale victory from this game and carry it to the next game against Raceland. Gabe Burchell, a key defensive player has been injured and will be expected to play against the Rams. If the Tigers continue to improve, theirs a possibility the Tigers can win a playoff game. This wont be the last time we hear of this improving Tiger squad, expect them to make some noise.
