Zach Baldwin and Harrison Dye both had an assist, which like in basketball, is achieved by passing the ball to another player for a goal.
The Tigers improved their record to 2-1with a win over Johnson Central on their home field on August 21st with a 5-1 victory. Jonathan de Guzman and Zach Baldwin both scored 2 goals and Matthew Barber scored one. Alex Vanhoose had an assist and Zach Baldwin had 3.
The Tigers went up against the Shelby Valley Wildcats on Thursday, August 23rd. The Tigers came back after giving up an early goal within the first 15 minutes. The final score was 3-1. Zach Baldwin had a Hat-Trick, which is achieved by scoring 3 goals in one game, and Cody Stafford had one assist.
The seniors expect to have a great season and are eagerly awaiting their chance at a regional title. Zach Baldwin is the leading scorer so far for the Tigers and is looking forward to scoring many more goals throughout the season.
