International Champion

     Alex Fowler, a 6th grader from Paintsville Elementary, is now the World International Future Problem Solving Scenario Writing Champion by surpassing 70 contenders from around the United States and several foreign countries.
     He will be honored June 7th at the 2012 FPS Program International Conference at Indiana University for his accomplishment.
     Alex was crowned State Champion in March at the Governor's Cup Competition in Lexington for his futuristic composition on pharmaceuticals.
     His story was then judged against other state and foreign country champions, and he defeated all of them.
     Alex is the 12-year old son of Nathan and Jennifer Fowler of Meally.  He competed in the grades 4-6 Junior Division.
     Paintsville Elementary's FPS Coach Kathy Creech was very proud of Alex for bringing a World Title to her school and to Paintsville, Kentucky.
