Chicago White Sox All-Time Team

Cody Goggin

When one thinks about the history of the Chicago White Sox, they probably almost immediately think of the 1919 “Black Sox Scandal” and Shoeless Joe Jackson. After this the White Sox were dismal and often thought of as one of the worst teams until 2005 when they won their third World Series Championship, and their first since the scandal. That scandal forever tainted those players, however, it seems as if the franchise has moved past that finally. Chicago went almost 90 years without a title, but the South Siders brought it home, leaving the Cubs jealous. Players from that 1919 team, such as Jackson and Cicotte are on the list because they were great players, completely ignoring the scandal. Players from this team span over 100 years and provides at least one player from each era, due to the Sox being one of the most storied franchises ever.
