The following are their responses:
Connie Warden—I like Abraham Lincoln. Not only because he has an incredible monument, but also because he was our president during one of the toughest times of our nation's history...the Civil War. I feel that he shows strength of character.
Rebecca Giallongo—My favorite President would have to be Harry S. Truman. He worked to end WWII and desegregate the military so that African Americans would be treated more fairly. He is also fromMissouri.
Kevin Lay—James Madison—he was considered the "Father of the Constitution" and authored some of the most important documents inUS history—The Bill of Rights, and the first 10 amendments Also, he married a woman named Dolley, creating Dolley Madison! Awesomeness!
Kris Altemeyer—Abraham Lincoln because he killed vampires.
