The anticipation of the fans while they wait for the big name free-agent to head for a new city and team. This year’s big name was outfielder Josh Hamilton. While Hamilton is not a five-tool player; he is still great baseball player. Hamilton can hit for power and average. Hamilton is looking for a long-term contract. He probably will not get the contract because of his age. Josh is more likely to get a five to seven year contract worth about $127 million. Although he is almost in the decline of his age, he can still produce at a high level. In 2010, Josh Hamilton won the American League Most Valuable Player.
