Home » Football NewsNine Huskies make All Big 9 TeamNovember 11, 2012 Owatonna FootballNine members of the 212 Owatonna Huskies football team were named to the All Big 9 Team this week. Three more players received Honorable Mention and Jeff Williams was name Big 9 Coach of the Year. The offensive players making the team include Jonah Noeldner and Caleb Buck, a pair of senior offensive linemen; Aaron Peterson, a junior running back who has set a number of school records during a breakout season; and Colton Schock, a senior quarterback was named to the team for the second straight year. Five defensive players made the 2012 All Big 9 team. Senior linebacker Mason Bloomquist, junior lineman Andrew Stelter, and junior defensive back Ty Sullivan were named to the team for the second straight year. Inside linebacker Luke Wanous and defensive back Sam Fenske; both juniors; round out the Owatonna members of the Big 9 Team. Mitch Skelton, Caleb Satterlund and Spencer Sorenson were named to the Honorable Mention squad. Coach Williams was named Coach of the Year for leading the Huskies to the undefeated season and Owatonna's first conference title since 2008.
