Varsity vs Eastern Greene

The Patriots welcomed visiting team Eastern Greene to town hoping to right the ship after a weekend trip of good baseball.  Logan T. got the Patriots off to the start Coach Greene has been looking for by a starting pitcher.  Logan worked fast to record three outs in the first inning.  OV responded with a five run inning opening the game up 5-0.  The T-Birds responed with a six run inning, while OV answered with three more to go ahead 8-6.  The T-Birds would not lay down and hit there way to a four run inning moving ahead 10-8.  OV could not take advantage, but Eastern Greene did not slow down adding six more runs in the top of the 7th.  OV not wanting the game to end scored two runs with one out making it 16-10, but could not get any closer.  OV welcomes Cascade to town on Thur.  April 12.
