TENNIS ROUNDUP: Wolfpack girls sweep Wildkats

COLUMBIA FALLS - The Kalispell Glacier girls' tennis team swept Columbia Falls, while the boys' teams fought to a draw in nonconference action on a wet Tuesday.

The Wolfpack girls cruised to an 8-0 win, playing five doubles matches, each ending in two sets. Glacier's Montana Ziglar and Sydney Sharaf closed the match with a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Caelie Philmon and Pepper Borland.

In singles play, Glacier's Mary Snipstead topped Natalie Law 6-2, 6-7, 6-2 in a close one.

On the boys' side, the Wildcats swept singles play and Glacier won each doubles match to end in a 4-4 tie.

Five other area matches were canceled Tuesday due to poor weather conditions.
