The fifth inning saw the Eagles score their only run on the day on an RBI single by Lacee.

The Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Eagles' rally started when Lacee singled. A single by Holly Papineau then moved Lacee from first to second. Logan Peterson doubled, plating Lacee.
After a quick strike from the Eagles, Laurel Locomotives responded with two runs in the first. Laurel Locomotives scored on an RBI triple by Gunn and a passed ball.
Laurel Locomotives went up for good in the third, scoring five runs on a three-run home run by Hodges and a two-run single by Williams.
