Girls Basketball Honor Roll

The powerful game of 6'4 Jill Barta ofFairfieldover the weekend Jill had 39 points against Belt and then 32 against ever Havre. Jill Barta has now scored 32 points in four of her last 5 games. Then there'sBozeman's Avery Collins.  She had 24 rebounds in a game.  Also the girls hoops, April Brown ofBrocktonlived at the free throw line a 63-56 win of Bainville. 20 of April's 24 points came from the line.  Remember the name Taylor Mims.  The 6'4 Miss Mims out of Billings Senior next season will become the firstMontanagirls high school basketball player to dunk.  Over the weekend in a 59-46 win over CMR, Miss Mims had 28 points and 14 rebounds.

Boys Basketball Honor Roll

We start with Shepherds John Mushaben he scored 43. His team had 105. They still lost the game. In that same contest, Hardin's Oliver Wallace poured in 38 as Hardin upended Shepher in 3 overtimes--108-105. Then in one of the best performances I had an opportunity to witness, Billings West High Jared Samuelson in a win over Billings Skyview had 25 points and 3 dunks. In another game that I game I announced, Glendive's  6'10 Brayden Boehning almost had a triple double in a win overWolfPoint. Boehning had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 8 blocks. Elsewhere in Havre's 61-56 win over Lewistown, both Logan Wilcox of Lewistown and Dane Warp of Havre, each scored 30.

Wrestling Honor Roll

Forsyth's Brandon Weber extended his state record career wins to 200.Brandonheads to the state tournament this weekend having won 132 matches in a row while teammate Chris Nile will take 108 win streak to state.
