STEVENSVILLE – Livingston scored twice in overtime to take a 3-1 win from Stevensville in the State A boys’ soccer championship match on Saturday afternoon.
The Jackets (13-1-1) took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Chance Coleman in the 36th minute.
The Rangers tied it three minutes later when Steve Newhouse scored to to knot the game at 1-1 going into intermission.
Neither team scored in the second half, sending the match to two 10-minute overtime periods.
In the first overtime, Daniel Newhouse took a turnover in the box and scored for a 2-1 Livingston lead.
The Rangers made it 3-1 in the second overtime when Tom Short scored on a sliding shot from the top of the box .
Stevi’s Ian Perry was called for a red card in the 69th minute and the Jackets had to play a man short the rest of the way.
Livingston finished at 10-5-0.
