Kalispell Flathead 65, Whitefish 64

At Kalispell, Matt Tokarz hit a 30-foot 3-pointer with four seconds on the clock to push Kalispell Flathead to the come-from-behind victory over Class A Whitefish.

The game-winning trey was Tokarz’s lone field goal as he finished 1 for 3 from the field and 1 of 2 from the line for a total of four points.

The majority of the Braves’ scoring came from Shea Schroeder (15), Garth West (15) and Matt Quist (14).

Flathead improved to 10-6 overall.

Whitefish, which fell to 10-7, was led by Logan Harwood’s 22 points.

Meyer's 28 propels Rams to win

LEWISTOWN -- Senior center Daniel Meyer poured in 28 points Tuesday night and Billings Central beat Lewistown 71-53 for its sixth consecutive boys basketball victory.

The Rams, 12-5, trailed 17-12 after one quarter, but used a 20-4 surge in the second to lead 32-21 at halftime. Central's spread was 57-36 after three quarters.

Meyer tallied 16 of his points in the second half.

Dylan Hanser added nine points to the Rams' overall attack. Jacob Stanton chipped in with eight.

The Eagles, 3-15, tried to make a game of it by connecting on 11 3-pointers. Dylan Stenseth accounted for five of them en route to 18 points.

Next up for Central is a home game on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against Billings West. It will be the Rams' final game of the regular season.
