Dillon tops Anaconda
DILLON — A quick start, a solid overall first half performance and a strong defensive effort from beginning to end was enough for the Dillon Beavers basketball team to pull away for a 50-33 win over Anaconda in Southwestern A play Thursday night.

Dillon (8-2, 4-1) led 17-8 after the first eight minutes and would build their cushion to 27-15 by halftime. Their defense would keep Anaconda (1-10, 1-5) in single digits in three of four quarters as they pulled away.

Dillon was led by Ben Folsom’s 15 points and the 12-point output of Troy Scott.

Anaconda got a 10-point output from Jade Green.
