Prep soccer: Teagle, Moe key Frenchtown-St. Regis girls’ win at Stevi

STEVENSVILLE – Abbey Teagle scored two goals to help Frenchtown-St. Regis to a come-from-behind 3-2 Southern A victory over host Stevensville on Thursday.

Teagle’s first goal came in the 25th minute, giving the Broncs the first lead of the match.

The Yellowjackets’ Brooke Constantino tied the game at 1-1 in the 34th.

The Broncs committed a handball in their own penalty box which allowed Constantino to beat Bronc goalkeeper Keegan Wickman on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute for a 2-1 lead.

Teague’s second goal knotted things up at 2-2 in the 55th and Alie Moe gave Frenchtown the lead for good 20 minutes later.

Stevensville dropped to 1-3-2 in conference play and are 2-5-4 overall.

At Polson, the Bulldogs dominated possession in the Northern A matchup, piling up 25 shots to the Pirates’ two.

Whitefish (3-1-0 conference, 6-2-0 overall) showed excellent balance, with seven different players posting a goal. Keeper Piper Greenwood earned her second shutout win of the season.

Polson fell to 2-4-0, 2-6-0.

Ayden Eickhoff scored a hat trick for the Blue Devils in a Southern A match at Rollin Field.

She scored the first goal of the contest in the 46th minute on a feed by freshman Zena Smith. Eickhoff then made the score 2-0 with a goal on an assist by Erica Allen in the 68th minute.

Loyola (1-5-0 conference, 3-7-0 overall) prevented the shutout with a goal by Maggie Miltko in the 72nd minute. Corvallis (2-1-1, 2-5-1) pulled away with goals by Allen and Eickhoff.

Lewis scores hat trick in Laurel girls soccer win

BELGRADE -- Alexis Lewis scored a hat trick and Allie McGrath also scored as the Laurel Locomotives defeated Belgrade 4-1 in Eastern A girls soccer on Thursday.

Laurel, which led 1-0 at halftime, had 20 shots.

Serena Klopp scored in the 60th minute for Belgrade to ruin Katrina Baumgartner's shutout bid.
