At Polson, the visiting Lady Broncs utilized some superior footwork and crisp passing to such an extent that the white ball was starting to take on a tint of maroon from all the time it spent in the possession of Hamilton players. The Lady Pirates took a pair of early hits from the foot of Karissa Pfantz, then got tazed by Jill Toews (pronouced "Tays"). Kendal Gordon extended the Hamilton lead to4-0 just before the half. Brianna Abrahamsen would score twice in the early going of the second half, with Bre Orr rounding out the scoring by making it 7-0 around the three-quarter mark. What could have been an eighth goal by first half keeper Marina McGourty was nullified when own player(s) ruled offside. Polson keeper Monica Cleveland made several spectacular saves to keep the scoring from breaching double figures.
