POLSON – The Polson girls and Whitefish boys came away with the team titles Tuesday at the Polson Invitational golf tournament.
Led by top two individuals Jaylin Kenney and Nicole Clairmont, the Pirate girls combined to shoot 361. Whitefish was second at 394, followed by Libby with 465 and Columbia Falls at 522.
Kenney’s round of 87 topped the leaderboard and edged Clairmont and Erin Tabish of Whitefish by two strokes. Polson golfers Anna DiGiallonardo (92) and Lauren Dupuis (93) rounded out the top five.
The Whitefish boys came in at 322 and bested runner-up Polson by 40 strokes. Libby with 407 was third and fourth-place Columbia Falls shot a 450.
Bulldog golfer Art Doorn shot a 70 to claim individual medalist honors while Whitefish teammate Kyle Barron and Polson golfer Haydon Congdon tied for second at 83.
Bulldogs Cooper Donahue (84) and Cooper Olson (86) took fourth and fifth.
