GLENDIVE -- Host Glendive won three of four individual titles and easily won the team championships at the Eastern A Divisional tennis tournament Saturday.
The top four finishers in both singles and doubles qualified for the Class A State Tournament Friday and Saturday in Great Falls.
The Glendive boys used a 1-3 finish in singles and 1-3 in doubles to finish with 54 points. Billings Central was second with 32.
The Red Devil girls finished 1-2 in singles and 1-3 in doubles for 60 points, while Hardin was second with 35.
Billings Central's Dillon Meyer won the boys single title, defeating Rusty Burshia of Hardin 6-1, 6-2 in the championship match. Glendive's Nathan Sickler won five matches to finish third.
In doubles Garth Roe and Dennis Berg beat Red Devil teammates Blake Stanhope and Nick Burman 6-0, 6-4 in the title match.
Morgan Opp of the Glendive girls dominated singles play, losing only three points en route to the championship. She defeated teammate Jordan Johnson 6-2, 6-1 for the championship.
Red Devils Brittany Lystad and Annie Hill beat Snowy Johnson and Alice of Hardin 6-2, 6-3 for the doubles title. Glendive teammates Nichole Burman and Ellen Carbajal finished third.
