EUREKA - Riley Kenney scored 19 points to lead the Polson girls' basketball team to a 43-26 nonconference victory over Eureka on Tuesday.
The senior forward was averaging just over 20 points per game coming into the contest. The No. 5 Pirates, who improved their record to 10-3 overall, bounced back from last week's loss to Stevensville, the second-ranked team in Class A.
Mackenzie Banner added eight points for Polson, which led the District 7-B Lions 22-12 at halftime.
Alyssa White scored eight points to pace Eureka (7-8).

Cassidy Hashley's big night led the Wolfpack to the Western AA win at the Hellgate gym.
Hashley scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds as Glacier improved to 3-2, 8-4.
The Wolfpack held a seven-point lead at halftime before outscoring the Knights 12-5 in the third quarter.
Senior forward Kelsey Meagher scored eight to lead Hellgate (0-6, 1-12).

At Ronan, Taylor Goligoski and the Southwestern A Broncs turned up the heat in the second and third quarters in their victory over District 6-B Ronan.
Goligoski drained a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 19 points as the Broncs improved to 6-7.
Meghan Kratofil had 10 points for the Broncs, who outscored the Maidens 26-9 over the second and third quarters and forced a total of 25 Ronan turnovers.
Raymi Clairmont and Ashley Grandchamp scored seven apiece for the Maidens (3-11).

LaDeaux had a game-high 10 points for District 7-B Plains (8-7), which turned an 8-8 tie into a 25-12 halftime lead.
Josey Carr and Hannah Retallick scored seven points each for the 14-C Savage Heat (0-12).

At St. Regis, Ali Bard provided a second-quarter spark for the the District 13-C Lynx as they pulled away from District 14-C St. Regis.
Bard knocked down a pair of 3-point buckets to start a 14-2 second-quarter burst. Bard netted seven of her team-high 12 points in the second quarter as the Lynx improved to 10-4.
Katie Menard added eight points for Lincoln.
Arianna Jones scored 14 and Pilar Cantrell-Field scored 12 for the Tigers (3-10).
