CORVALLIS BOYS AND POLSON GIRLS WON POLSON ABC

Polson ABC
At Polson, the Corvallis boys and the Polson girls brought home the team titles at the Polson ABC track meet.
Behind dual winners Slater Powell and Dalton Sybrant, the Blue Devils totaled 126 points. Columbia Falls and Whitefish tied for second at 84.
Polson's girls tallied 131 points. Hamilton was second with 82 and Frenchtown was third with 74.
Powell swept the hurdles races, winning the 110 in 14.7 and the 300 in 39.66.
Teammate Dalton Sybrant won the shot put (53-6) and the discus (164-0), but both marks were below his season bests.
Austin Byron of Corvallis turned in a 14-foot pole vault, matching his season best.
Other Blue Devils who took home first-place ribbons were Tyler Bonngard (200), Drew Zeiler (800) and Austin Landis (javelin). Zeiler's time of 2:00.17 is his best of the season.
The Polson girls received wins from Mesa Starkey (3,200), Tara Johnson (javelin) and Loni Havlovick (shot put).
Double winners on the girls' side included Bigfork's Mallery Knoll (100, 300 hurdles), Corvallis' Paige Squire (200, 110 hurdles), Hamilton's Misha Trotter (400, 1,600), and Stevensville's Brekka Johnson (long jump, triple jump).
