He's played in all 23 games this season, earning the start in 16, and has scored in double figures in seven of the last 13 games. McVay and Morris both earned second team accolades, with McVay averaging 11.5 points and 8.0 rebounds-per-game in 23 games and Morris starting in all 14 games after Christmas break and averaging 10.3 points and a league-best 6.1 assists-per-game. McVay is shooting 54 percent from the field and has posted a team-best five double-doubles, scoring in double figures in 16 games. Morris has dished out 85 assists against 41 turnovers (2:1 ratio), shooting 51 percent from the floor and a team-best 42 percent from beyond the arc. Northwest currently sits at 12-11 overall and will open Region XXIII Tournament play on Thursday, March 8 against Southern-Shreveport at 8 p.m. All games will be played in the Golden Dome on the campus of Mississippi College.
