Delphos Jefferson produced five conference champions on Saturday as the Wildcats beat Lima Central Catholic in the 2012 Northwest Conference Tournament at Columbus Grove.  The Wildcats finished with 291 points to 279 for LCC.  Columbus Grove finished third with 240 points.  The Wildcats’ win ended Allen East’s four year reign as NWC wrestling champions. This tournament also marked the first official athletic event to be held in the new Columbus Grove High School gymnasium.

Bluffton’s Zach Wilson (145) and Delphos Jefferson’s Curtis Miller (220) were named Co-Wrestlers of The Year in the NWC.  Mike Wilson of Delphos Jefferson was voted by his peers as NWC Coach of The Year.
