Two athletes from North Wilkes and one from Northwest Guilford have been honored by the NCHSAA with “Heart of a Champion” awards, given annually to athletes who have exhibit outstanding sportsmanship.

On a cold windy day, the Lady Vikings started a fire with a 13-3 win over Mt. Airy for the second of the year. Lady Vikings start in conference play went they host Forbush Falcons for a 4:30pm start on Friday.
