Huskies sent Vikings packing!!

By Nathan Miller of North Wilkes High SchoolJV girls lost tonight to the Huskies with score 24-35. JV Boys couldn't find enough points for a 32-52 lost.
Lady Huskies upset Lady Vikings on senior night with a 54-59 win. Two of the four seniors on Lady Huskies scored 14 & 18 points.
The Ashe County boys found out that North would not quit in first half with Viking only trailing by 7 at break. North Wilkes was closing in by single dights, but Ashe regroup and won the game 65-41.
North Wilkes will host the Eagles of W. Central Tuesday the 7th and end the regular season next Friday the 10th against Starmount. Again, the game with Starmount will start at 4pm with No JV girls game. Varsity should start around 5:15!!
