Owasso, Broken Arrow, Guthrie, McAlester, Bethany, and Cascia To Be Broadcast This Week

VYPE OKLAHOMA EXTENDS BROADCASTS OF LIVE STREAMING PLAYOFF GAMES INTO THIS WEEK’S SEMIFINAL ACTION

Oklahoma City, OK—November 23rd, 2011 VYPE Oklahoma will be exclusively broadcasting the semifinal and quarterfinal contests including Broken Arrow vs. Owasso, Guthrie vs. McAlester, Lawton Mac vs. Ardmore, and Bethany vs. Cascia Hall.

VYPE Oklahoma, with six regional publications throughout Oklahoma including statewide previews for football and basketball, has broadcast hundreds of live streaming events throughout 201. Last week marked the first time VYPE was able to broadcast live video streaming during OSSAA sanctioned playoff events. The three broadcasts last week received over 30,000 views on VYPEOK.com.

This week VYPE Oklahoma will be producing four contests that will be broadcast on VYPEOK.com Friday night and Saturday. All games will be available online and will also be available to watch live on any smart phone. Once the broadcasts are concluded, each game will be archived and available to watch in their entirety.

6A Semifinals - Broken Arrow vs. Owasso – Friday @ 7:30
Steve Spavital and the Broken Arrow Tigers are rolling through opponents in the 6A playoffs. The Tigers face a battle hardened Owasso team led by Kason Key and Keon Hatcher. The Rams won in quadruple overtime at Midwest City last week. This game will be played at Indian Bowl in Muskogee Friday night.


3A Quarterfinal - Bethany vs. Cascia Hall – Friday @ 7:30

Bethany and Cascia Hall will hook up in a 3A quarterfinal matchup at Bethany on Friday night. Cascia Hall brings an undefeated team led by senior linebacker Conner Sherwood. The Bronchos will counter with the combination of quarterback and receiver Ryley Claborn and Gage Diffee.


5A Semifinals – Guthrie vs. McAlester – Saturday @ 1:00pm

The Blue Jays have found themselves in the semis after a big win against East Central at The Rock. The Blue Jays staunch defense has carried Guthrie and now they face the McAlester Buffalos. The Buffs are led by senior quarterback Tony Kiefer and University of Tulsa commit Adam Boyd. The 5A semifinal contest will be Saturday at Sapulpa High School.


5A Semifinals - Lawton Mac vs. Ardmore – Saturday @ 1:00pm

The 5A clash will include two of southwest Oklahoma’s best teams. The Highlanders have been undefeated and unmatched all season and look to continue while Ardmore finds themselves as the Cinderella story in 5A. Both teams hook up on Saturday at Yukon.
