Former Springdale Star Mustain Sits Down for Exclusive with Vertical

Former Springdale Star quarterback Mitch Mustain graces the cover of VYPE brother publication Vertical (a men’s lifestyle magazine). The April/May edition (The Semi-Annual Man-ual) is on newstands across Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley and Little Rock.

Mustain, who finished his career at USC, talked in detail about the events leading up to his departure at Arkansas. The 2005 Parade High School Player of the Year signed with the Hogs after then-coach Houston Nutt appointed former Springdale coach, Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator.

Mustain and Springdale and Arkansas teammate, Ben Cleveland, recount a rocky and bizarre season dealing with a fractured offense and locker room.
