Unsigned Seniors Basketball Showcase

Arkansas seniors with college basketball aspirations have a chance to be seen by college scouts this Saturday in Searcy.

The College Dreams With Basketball showcase is for unsigned boys and girls senior basketball players looking for scholarship offers.

The event takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday March 24 at the Harding Academy gymnasium. The combine should finish around 8 p.m. and costs $25 per player.

More than 100 boys and 30 girls have already signed up for the event. Fifteen men’s and 6 women’s coaches from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee have committed to attending.

Players will test their skills in different stations including: Bench Press, Shuttle Run, Vertical Jump, Dribble Skills, Standing Long Jump, and NBA Shuttle Run. The player’s height, weight and reach is also recorded as well as a photo taken.

College Coaches will get a complete list of the player’s contact and his or
her results of the evaluation.

In the afternoon players will split into teams and play games.  This will allow
coaches to see how they measure up playing against competition. We will be
recording all games so the college coaches can get video upon
request.
