Kingwood’s Sandie Raines was District 13 Champion and finished well ahead of the rest of the field.  The team looked good behind her with only a 28-second gap between their next four runners.  Klein was led by gutsy performances from Diana Evans and Janae Bottoms who led the first half of the race and broke up the Mustang herd.   Shelby Mason showed Atascocita the way to the bronze with a dominating performance over the rest of the field.  Spring did not field a full team but will be represented by top-ten finisher Brianna Jackson.  Spring teammate Paulina Parra also showed well by finishing 16th in the field of 57 runners.  Cheyenne Morrison Ros closed hard at the finish and will represent Klein Oak in Region competition.
