Jr High Finishes Season Strong

By Northfield Athletics of Northfield High SchoolThe Northfield Jr. High wrestling team wrestled in the 2012 Whitko TRC Wrestling Invitational Friday night. In the 8th grade division, Jake Stephan won his weight class. Logan Carey, Drake Heitz, and Drew Clark placed second. Noah Augustus, Matt Carey, and John Ritchie placed third.
In the 6th and 7th grade division, Macauley Miller, Zac Pennington, Ryan Driscoll, Cole Persinger, Chris Orpurt, Zach Shadden, Dayon Waldron, and Layne Evans placed first. Placing second were Adam Smalley and Garon Booth. Heath Lambert, Matt Campbell, Tyler Copeland, and Jensen Frieden placed third.
