Norse Fall to Apax 44-27 in Sectional Final

The Lady Norse gave it a great effort and trailed 25-23 in the 3rd with Wabash star Kelsey Cromer on the bench with 4 fouls but could get no closer and eventually fell 44-27. As Cromer sat the bench, the Apaches played ball control for most of the 3rd quarter. The Apaches did not score til under 40 seconds to go in the quarter but got another basket with under 3 seconds to extend their lead to 6, 29-23. With Cromer back in the game in the 4th and forced to play catch-up, the Norse could never recover.

Sydney Eltzroth lead the Norse with 8 points tonight and once again the Norse defense player pretty well until the 4th and then it was only due to the situation that things got out of hand.

The Norse have much to look forward to as all everyone returns in 2012-13. The Norse finished the season 10-13 doubling their win output from last year. There is much to be excited about especially after the way the played the last couple games of the tournament.
