The NIC will feature play in 3 classes in 3 sectionals.

The 39th Annual IHSAA Football State Tournament, presented by the Indianapolis Colts, begins play on Friday, Oct 21. The 6 week long tourney will have 3 rounds of Sectional play followed by Regional and Semi-State games and conclude with the State Championship games on Friday & Saturday, Nov 24-25 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The state-wide drawing will be held Sunday evening, Oct 9 and will be posted on-line after the TV and radio shows have announced the draw. 1st Round Sectional games will be played on Friday, October 21.

 

Class 5A - Sectional # 2

NIC schools - Elkhart Central. Penn and SB Adams

with FW Carroll, Elkhart Memorial, Goshen, LaPorte and Warsaw

Friday, Oct 21 - 1st Round

Game 1 - Elkhart Central at Elkhart Memorial

Game 2 - South Bend Adams at Penn

Game 3 - LaPorte at Goshen

Game 4 - Warsaw at FW Carroll

 

Class 4A - Sectional # 10

NIC schools - Mishawaka, SB Clay, SB Washington, SB Riley

with Hobart, Kankakee Valley, Lowell and New Prairie

Friday, Oct 21 - 1st Round

Game 1 - SB Riley at New Prairie

Game 2 - Mishawaka at Lowell

Game 3 - Kankakee Valley at SB Washington - School Field

Game 4 - Hobart at SB Clay - Clay Field

 

Class 3A - Sectional # 17

NIC schools - Mishawaka Marian and SB St. Joseph's

with Calumet, Culver Academies, Gary Wallace, John Glenn, Hammond Gavit and Knox

Friday, October 21 - 1st Round

Game 1 - St. Joseph's at Gary Wallace

Game 2- Culver Academies at Knox

Game 3 - Hammond Gavit at John Glenn

Game 4 - Mishawaka Marian at Calumet
