Penn at the IHSAA State Finals

NIC to be represented at the IHSAA Girls' Basketball State Finals

Penn falls to Bedford North Lawrence in the Class 4A state championship game by a score of 51-41. Penn finished the season with a 25-2 record.

Penn beat Logansport, 44-41 at the Crown Point Northern Semi-State for the Class 4A title on Saturday to advance to the Class 4A IHSAA State Finals next Saturday, March 8 in Terre Haute.

In the Class A semi-state game Oregon-Davis defeated Lafayette Central Catholic, 67-46 to advance to the Class A state championship game. Penn's only loss in the regular season was to Oregon-Davis, 61-52 at the SB Washington Hoiiday Tournament on Dec. 26.

Penn, now 25-1 on the season, will face Bedford North Lawrence, who beat Lawrence North in the Class 4A Southern Semi-State game, 62-54 in OT. The Class 4A championship game will start around 8:00 pm after the 3A game which starts at 6:00 pm.

Oregon-Davis, now 23-2 for the season, will face Vincennes Rivet (23-4) for the Class A state championship at 10:30 am in the first of 4 state title games in Terre Haute next Saturday at the Hulman Center on the campus of Indiana State University.
