NIC Wrestling Schedule - Week of Dec 17-22

Thursday, Dec 20

St. Joseph at Marian *

Mishawaka 60-12 over SB Clay *

Saturday, Dec 22

Penn at IHSWCA Invitational at Westfield RESULTS:

Penn finished in 3rd place in the 3A Class, defeating Bloomington South, 35-26 out of a field of 8 teams in 3A.

Washington, Clay and St. Joseph at Rochester Invitational RESULTS:

SB Clay won the Rochester Invitational with 190 points with three undefeated wrestlers for the day while St. Joseph captured 7th place with 120 points and Washington was 11th with 96.5 points out of a field of 16 teams.

NIC Wrestling Schedule notes:

Clay vs Elkhart Central NIC wrestling match was conducted at the Elkhart Super Duals on Nov 25 as Clay defeated Elkhart Central, 71-3. The NIC Wrestling schedule orginally had their match scheduled for Dec 20. The Penn vs Mishawaka orginally scheduled for Dec 20 has been rescheduled for Jan 3. The Adams vs Marian match, orginally scheduled for Nov. 29 has been rescheduled for Jan 8. The Clay at Mishawaka match was rescheduled from Nov 29 to Dec 20.

3rd - Mishawaka with 123      has 5 in final round

13th - SB Adams - 89          has 2 in final round

out of a field of 32 schools

Final Results after 2nd day-NIC schools

1st Place - Penn with 215 team points, no individual weight clas champions

3rd Place - Mishawaka with 198 points with 3 champions

Jake Sinkovics at 106 lbs, Tommy Forte (138) and Tristan Macri (145)

6th Place - SB Clay with 146, with 3 champions

Jake Hartman (113), Mitchell Hartm,an (132) and Shakir Carr (285)

11th Place - SB Adams with 116

18th Place - SB Riley with 94.5 with 1 champion
