Penn wins delayed IHSAA Girls' Golf Regional

IHSAA Girls' Golf Regional

The postponed Regional was played on Monday in Kendallville with Penn winning by 15 strokes over 2nd place Rochester with Marion, IN finishing 3rd. Those three teams advance to the IHSAA State Finals in The Legends Golf Course in Franklin on Friday and Saturday, Sep 28-29.

St. Joseph golfer Anna Wilcoxson advances as an individual along with Penn's team to represent the NIC at the State Finals. Penn finished as the IHSAA State Runner-Up last year, falling two strokes short of the state title. Penn has four golfers returning from last year's state tournament team.
